We supply scaffolding services for both commercial and domestic clients. Here's a small selection of  some of the projects we've successfully completed recently.

 

Sentrum, Woking

Sentrum are specialists in the design, build and management of bespoke data storage solutions. Housing one of the largest data centres in Europe, Sentrum 4 (Woking, Surrey) is a huge ongoing project in which we are the sole scaffolding company used throughout the site.

With ongoing development spanning the 12 acre site, our work and attention to detail has been recognised not only by Sentrum, but also other large contractors involved in their own specialist installations. Listed among the companies we assist on a daily basis are Tudor Construction, McQuays, Allaway Acoustics and many, many more.

At Sentrum, our scaffolding erection is as varied as it is numerous and covers scaffolding work such as heavy structures built in order to provide loading bays for forklifts and goods, stages, staircases, birdcages, gantries, ramps - you name it, we build it! We also supply 24/7 coverage for the site in order to meet the exacting demands of a project as large and complex as this. We have dedicated and highly skilled supervisors present every day in order to not only manage our work on the site, but also advise and supply essential input into the planning of our constructions. The project has been scheduled to run from 2009 through to 2012 and we look forward to providing scaffolding services for Sentrum and other contractors stationed there for the duration.

 

Leatherhead Road, Bookham

This domestic scaffolding project is exactly the type of potentially troublesome work we've built our reputation on delivering with the minimum of fuss. Our client wished to extend their property at the rear and raise the elevation to roof height. However access was not only severely restricted due to neighbouring properties (consent), but also the flat roof at the rear that was unable to bear any of the weight for the work due to take place. With regular scaffolding, you would usually build from the ground upwards around the perimeter of the building, but clearly in this case this would not be possible. We went about erecting two twenty-five foot towers to run parallel to the flat roof, then bridging straight across between the towers in order to lay a platform for support of the scaffolding being built above. This carefully planned construction, was able to support all of the scaffolding, equipment and workmen above without impacting on either the structure below, or the surrounding properties. We then continued to build from the platform as per the clients request.

 

Brighton Road, South Croydon

We were approached by a customer asking if we would be able to help with their wedding! The problem involved the marquee being used for the wedding reception, it could not be erected safely due to the surface in their garden being uneven. The customer asked us if we could come up with a solution to not only level everything off, but also raise the floor level to that of their house throughout the entire garden for the event. We started out by taking measurements all over the garden and carefully cutting individual supports in order to ensure that the resulting platform would be level. We then went about the task of strengthening the supports in sections so that the platform would safely take the weight of not only the marquee but also the 300 guests that were due to attend. Once the customer and marquee builders were happy, we then set about completing the job by boarding the entire surface with both scaffolding boards and ply sheets screwed on top, before a white mating was stretched across the entire platform in order to produce an attractive finish to match the marquee. Our team clearly demonstrated their vast skill-set in completing this job to the clients complete satisfaction.
